Very informative guided tours of the abbey every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You can buy your tickets in the beer shop (next to the antique cart with the barrels).

We had a pleasant time visiting this monastery. Upon arrival we were greeted by the kind bartender who patiently helped us to choose from the menu. The soups tasted like grandma’s home made recipe and the snacks and cakes were they right portion and delicious. Nothing is pricey and I would only advise to go during winter, because it is quiet and not packed. Before we left, we visited the store and bought so many interesting stuff. Again, nothing overpriced. In fact, cheaper than in supermarkets.

Very nice visit and we met some excellent people in the restaurant, store, and the museum. Sad to have missed out on a full tour, but we went on a Thursday.

Lovely brewery with craft beers at the NL-BE border! Great people, service and outdoor seating. Great for a day trip from Eindhoven.

Monestery uts made all about monet. Everything is renovated and false, the soul has been lost just so they could earn a bit more money. I was expecting something more. Only thing what could be dpne, is to buy and drink beer but not visit thr church

This place is easily 5 stars after a beautiful cycle from Eindhoven. But it drops 3 stars because after cycling over an hour to have a beer we find out its cash only! I mean its 2018! The only businesses still refusing to do payments with pinpas are tax avoiders and crooks! (that and 10 year old selling lemonade during Kings day but that's totally acceptable!) does anyone know why de achelse kluis only accepts cash and no pin? Would love to know.
